A word from the CEO
Since the company’s very beginning – ie. 1990 – we have strived to be innovative and professional in the field of technological application. Our work is based on profound levels of scientific knowledge, as well as on the bold attitude: ‘Think different’.
Today most technological solutions are so integrated into our everyday lives that we fail to notice them, even though they help us manage the massive flow of information we constantly receive. Our goal is to create and implement solutions which help everyone to understand, structure, and protect that information. To achieve that end, highly skilled experts are needed, and we have such people. We educate them and we are proud of them.
We believe in continuous improvement. We strive to impress the client with our innovation and to gain their trust through responsible work.
Together we can make true seemingly impossible ideas.

Years of experience
Our journey from 1990
UAB Inta was established on 16 March 1990, only a few days after the restoration of Lithuania’s independence. It was one of the first companies in Lithuania to provide copying and telecommunications equipment along with technical maintenance services.
Inta today is a reliable integrator of non-intrusive inspection system solutions (abbreviate to ‘NII’), having over twenty years of experience in border security all across Europe. Our services include assessment, the installation of NII systems, training, maintenance, quality control, remote image analysis, and the integration of control centres. We have implemented a number of projects, including railway, stationary, portal, and mobile cargo and vehicle X-ray control systems.
Inta was the first company in Europe to implement BAXE: the interstate data exchange network for sharing X-ray images across customs in the Baltic States. This system enables real-time information exchange, making it possible to more effectively control borders.
We have also created a progressive, innovative, and flexible dangerous object detection and X-ray image analysis training programme which has been recognised worldwide by a good many customs agencies. Our training solution earned in 2022 the PEC-CP award of innovations, granted by the World Customs Organization (WCO) during the technology conference in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Our instructors have trained operators from twenty-two countries and four continents, helping to speed up inspections, and to improve accuracy and detention efficiency.

Quality and compliance
Inta operates in compliance with international standards, as well as the highest quality and safety requirements. Our company has all the licences, permits, and certificates which are necessary for installing specialised technological solutions.
Our operational processes are carefully structured, and comply with applicable national and international laws as well as the requirements of security authorities. The company is regularly inspected by internal and independent external auditors which check compliance, risk management, and adherence to quality standards. That way we ensure the transparency of operations, consistent quality control, and constant improvement in all areas, from the installation of technological solutions to customer service.
Working in accordance with best international practice, we ensure reliability, compliance, and trust in the eyes of all our partners and clients.
